Day 89 (June 28) - Note

I made a decision that I am cutting the 90-day challenge a bit short for me. And I am ok with it. Today my fantastic husband and I have been married for 9 years. We went to breakfast and lunch and have plans to go out to dinner and spend the day together. Then tomorrow we are headed out for a weekend away, just the 2 of us. And while I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge I plan to sit back and enjoy today and the whole weekend as much as I did 9 years ago. We have been through a lot together and are stronger for it and this weekend is our reward for 9 years together and a promise for so many more. So, I will eat, drink, be merry and enjoy every second I get with my guy.

Day 88 (June 27) - Food log

6:15am - Breakfast
Egg salad
leftover green beans

8:30am - Snack
Roasted plantain chips

10:15am - Snack
2 pieces of string cheese

12:00pm - Snack
few cashews and almonds
2 pieces dried mango

12:40pm - Lunch
Shredded chicken
Raw veggies with quinoa
Strawberries and blueberries
2 snickerdoodle cookies - homemade and very good!

3:45pm - Snack
Cashews and almonds
Dried mango

8:00pm - Dinner
Turkey club on rye - turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, and tomato on grilled rye bread
French fries


Rest day - which was definitely needed.
And I was hungry ALL day, not sure why, but that led to the downfall of french fries tonight. Oh well.

Total Time = 16:27

I finished my power cleans in a little over 3 minutes. Toes to bar were definitely my struggle (still). I will confess that there were about half that weren't toes to bar as much as a really big knees to elbows. But that is still better than no toes to bars, which is where I was a few months ago.

Day 85 (June 24) - Food log

Breakfast Melt Sandwich - yes, again. I like the sandwich and I love our breakfast place

1 pieces of colby-jack cheese

7:30pm - Dinner
2 chicken apple sausages
green beans

8:30pm - Snack

Day 84 (June 23) - Food log

10:00am - Breakfast
Breakfast Melt Sandwich at my favorite breakfast joint
- grilled rye bread, scrambled egg, ham, and cheese

4:00pm - late Lunch
Arby's roast beef sandwich
- definitely not my plan, but we had gone to see my grandma and were an hour from home and I was starving

6:00pm - Snack
Raw veggies

7:30pm and on - birthday party for a friend
Vegetables and dip
Chips and dip
1 piece of lakeshore berry pie from Grand Traverse Pie Company

It wasn't my intent for the entire day to be a giant cheat day, but it was. And I am ok with it. Life happens, I did the best I could, but I also enjoyed myself.

Day 83 (June 22) - Food log and WOD

Chicken with homemade guacamole

Mint chocolate brownie - it was luncheon day at work and I wanted a brownie

few pieces of dried mango

8:15pm - Dinner
Bowl of clam chowder
Big salad - lettuce, cucumber, tomato, black olives, bacon, hard-boiled egg, and cheese with cherry vinaigrette dressing on the side
3 small pieces of bread with honey butter

9:15pm - Snack
10 bites if husband's chocolate banana flurry

The KB Swings and box jumps were Rx, push press was not so much. Oh well, I got 9 rounds (+1 Push press). I felt great during this WOD. I have been struggling with fatigue and the heat and I finally felt good, felt strong and felt like I had a great WOD.
